Chuck Liddell still hasn't decided if he's retiring or not, but he has already taken up the hobby of retirees: golf. However, he still is Chuck Liddell. A man with a mohawk and head tattoos is not going to put on a pair of plaid pants and head to the country club.
Liddell took part in Minnesota Viking Jared Allen's Night Ops Golf Tournament that benefited Homes for Wounded Warriors. The tournament started late in the afternoon so that the back nine took place at night, in pitch dark. In true military style, the tournament featured "punishments" for making bad shots.
The participants had to endure harassment from Marines on every hole - distracting them on their backswings, and frequently demanding push-ups for sub-par results. Some duffers received different consequences - UFC star Chuck "Iceman" Liddell had to blast through a Slip-and-Slide after failing to reach the green in regulation on the 14th hole.
Liddell and the other golfers, including MMA enthusiast and NFL reporter Jay Glazer, used glow-in-the-dark golf balls and tees to find their way around. All of this craziness on the links was for a good cause, though, as the proceeds from the outing went to help build handicap-accessible homes for injured military members.
